Pretty good food that is fresh and well presented, we ordered off the menu. Salmon hash cakes were great and something different from usual brunch menu items, nicely poached eggs!

This is my favourite cafe ever the staff are always so kind and friendly, it’s my favourite place to go always. They have the best matcha, I love the blended iced and the ceremonial one they taste amazing, and such cute little cups . Honestly the best I’ve had and my go to spot, it makes my day coming in here, I highly recommend!!

Brunch done right. Crispy bacon, creamy mushrooms, perfectly poached eggs, and a fantastic coffee. The staff is very friendly. Will definitely be back.

The food here absolutely blew me away. I ordered the beef cheek, cheese, and jalapeño toastie with curly fries, and it was so much better than I expected. Packed with flavour and insanely satisfying. My husband went for the blueberry ricotta pancakes, and the portion was huge. They came loaded with oats, pumpkin seeds, fresh fruit, and a generous pour of syrup, plus he added bacon, no complaints from him at all. My iced mocha was honestly the best I’ve ever had: perfect flavour, perfect consistency. His mocha was velvety and rich too. We were seriously impressed and will definitely be coming back.

Eme’s Cafe was a pleasant experience overall. The food was great, the staff were friendly, but the real star of the show was the French toast absolutely delicious from the first bite to the last. Definitely worth the price. That said, I do want to mention one odd moment. A lady in pink suddenly came to our table, grabbed our napkin without asking, and walked off. It was quite rude and honestly a bit bizarre my partner and I were too stunned to say anything. Not the best touch to an otherwise lovely visit. Shame on you napkin thief!

My friend and I discovered this cozy café tucked away in Remuera. We visited on a weekend, and it was packed。 We ordered Corn Fritters and Karaage Chicken Croffle. They were delicious! For drinks, we ordered Turmeric Coffee & Berry Smoothie – The coffee had a nice earthy warmth, and the smoothie was refreshing and well-balanced. Overall, a lovely spot with some standout dishes. I’d return for the corn fritters and drinks!

Great place for lunch/brunch. It was the Shore Rd Cafe, and now Eme's Cafe. Large interior- lots of seating- nice little tables, and a great big one to share. Parking can be difficult, as it's street and some yellow lines. Good location in Shore Road. Great service, nice staff Quality of food was reasonable. Prices were reasonable. Atmosphere was nice- but flies were buzzing around. Recommended
